We recognize aboriginal peoples' ownership of Traditional Knowledge about the land and about how people interact with the land. The knowledge and experience that local people have about regional conditions and land use is important to Project planners. We incorporate Traditional Knowledge into the Project wherever possible. This information helps to plan the pipeline route and the facilities and to minimize impacts on the environment and people's use of the land.
