The proponents of the Mackenzie Gas Project will manage this
development in a manner that demonstrates our commitment to:
- Consult
with aboriginal and nonaboriginal northern residents, and
where practical, integrate their feedback into our plans.
- Work with aboriginal and nonaboriginal northerners to
develop and implement benefits
plans and related arrangements that provide opportunities
to participate in the Project.
- Maintain worker and public safety.
- Care for the environment before, during and after construction.
- Respect the peoples of the North and the land, wildlife
and environment
on which their cultures are based.
